BDaniel General Construction Corp ("BDaniel," "we," "us," or "our") is a licensed home improvement contractor based in West Springfield, Massachusetts. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you contact us, why we collect it, and what we do with it.

We are a small local construction business. We collect contact details for one reason: so we can respond to you about the work you asked about. We do not sell your personal information to anyone.

1. Information We Collect

Information you give us directly

When you request an estimate — through the contact form on this website, by phone, by text message, by email, or through a lead form on Facebook or Instagram — we collect:

• Your name
• Your phone number
• Your email address
• The city or town where the project is located
• Details you choose to share about your project (type of work, scope, timing, budget range, photos)

If we visit your property for an on-site estimate, we may also record the project address and take photographs of the work area for the purpose of preparing an accurate quote.

Information collected automatically

This website uses Google Analytics to understand how visitors find and use our pages. Google Analytics places cookies in your browser and collects information such as your approximate location (city or region level), the pages you view, how long you stay, the type of device and browser you use, and the site or search that referred you. This information is aggregated and is not used to identify you personally.

You can opt out of Google Analytics across all websites by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, or by blocking cookies in your browser settings. Blocking cookies will not prevent you from using this site or contacting us.

We also use the Meta Pixel, a tool from Meta Platforms, Inc., to measure the results of our Facebook and Instagram ads. It records page views and when a visitor submits our estimate form or taps our phone number, so we can see which ads bring in requests and show our ads to people likely to be interested. Meta may use cookies and similar technologies for this under its own Privacy Policy. You can control ads based on this activity in your Facebook or Instagram ad settings, or by blocking cookies in your browser.

2. Facebook and Instagram Lead Forms

We use lead form submissions only to contact you about the estimate you requested. If you would prefer we not contact you, tell us and we will remove your information. See Your Choices below.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information you give us to:

• Respond to your inquiry and answer questions about your project
• Schedule and carry out a free on-site estimate
• Prepare written estimates, proposals, and contracts
• Communicate with you about work in progress, scheduling, and payment
• Keep records required for our business, insurance, warranty, and Massachusetts Home Improvement Contractor obligations
• Follow up if you requested an estimate but we did not reach you

We do not use your information for automated decision-making, and we do not build advertising profiles from the details you share with us about your home.

4. Text Messages and Phone Calls

If you give us your phone number, you agree that we may call or text you about the project you contacted us about. Message and data rates may apply. You can stop text messages at any time by replying STOP, or by telling us directly. Opting out of text messages does not prevent us from reaching you by phone or email about work already underway.

5. When We Share Information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share it only in these situations:

• Service providers we rely on to run the business — for example our email provider, scheduling and estimating software, and payment processor. They may access your information only to perform work for us.
• Subcontractors and suppliers — when a specific trade is needed for your project, we share only what is necessary to schedule and complete that work, such as the project address and scope.
• Permitting and inspection authorities — when a project requires a building permit, municipal authorities receive the information required by law.
• Legal requirements — when we are required to disclose information by law, subpoena, or court order, or to establish or defend a legal claim.
• Business transfer — if the business is sold or merged, customer records may transfer to the new owner, who would remain bound by this policy.

6. Project Photographs

We photograph completed work and may display those photographs on this website, on our Facebook and Instagram pages, and in advertising. These photographs show the work itself. We do not publish your name, address, or any identifying details alongside project photos without asking you first. If you would rather we not photograph your project or not publish photos of it, tell us before work begins and we will honor that.

7. How Long We Keep Information

If you contacted us but we never worked together, we keep your inquiry for up to two years and then delete it. If we completed work for you, we keep project records — contracts, estimates, invoices, correspondence, and photographs — for at least seven years, as required for tax, warranty, insurance, and contractor licensing purposes.

8. How We Protect Information

We limit access to customer information to the people who need it to do their work. Accounts we use are protected by passwords and, where available, two-factor authentication. That said, no method of transmitting information over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please do not send sensitive information such as Social Security numbers or full bank account details by email or text; we will never ask you for them that way.

9. Your Choices

You can, at any time:

• Ask us what personal information we hold about you
• Ask us to correct information that is wrong
• Ask us to delete your information, unless we are required to keep it for tax, warranty, or licensing reasons
• Ask us to stop contacting you
• Withdraw permission to use photographs of your project

10. Children

This website and our services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Links to Other Sites

Our pages link to other sites, including Facebook, Instagram, and Google. This policy does not cover those sites. We encourage you to read the privacy policy of any site you visit.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as our business or the law changes. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised. Material changes will be posted here.
